PM / Orchestration System Setup

Alan wants an async workflow for SomeShovels projects:

  • Morning/evening: Alan and Reggie talk, flesh out tasks together
  • Reggie creates/updates tasks in Notion, then works through them
  • Sub-agents for parallel execution
  • Notion as the visual tracking hub

Autonomy Agreement

  • Reggie can push commits freely
  • On wrap-up, provide: key choices, top 2 alternatives, rationale, downstream dependencies
  • PAUSE and ping Alan on foundational/existential choices not discussed in advance
  • Alan reviews in evening, can flag swaps

Notion Setup

  • Connected API key (stored at ~/.config/notion/api_key)
  • Integration connected to: Project-Shovels, Project Lists, Features, Shovels To-Do list
  • All database IDs saved to /root/clawd/notion-config.json

Decisions Database Created

  • Built inline on Project-Shovels page
  • Fields: Decision, Status, Impact, Decided By, Alternatives, Rationale, Dependencies, Date, Task (relation), Project (relation)
  • Status flow: Needs Review → Made → Reviewed (or Reversed)
  • “Needs Review” added so Alan can scan for decisions awaiting his input / unblock work
  • Decision: went straight to database instead of in-page logging (Alan’s call — expected to hit volume thresholds quickly)

GitHub Setup

  • Authenticated as Chaoticonomist (org: project-shovels)
  • Token stored via gh auth login
  • Linked repos to Notion projects:
    • CalWizz → project-shovels/time-insights-app (+ Chaoticonomist/calwizz-landing)
    • How2 → project-shovels/shovel1
    • Release log/Change log SaaS → project-shovels/better_changelog
  • Unlinked repos:
    • slack2 — no project yet, discuss tomorrow
    • idunoo — Adam’s collab project with a friend (not a Shovel)
    • time-insights-DEPRECATED — old CalWizz codebase, Adam wants to delete
  • Added “GitHub Repo” URL field to Project Lists database
  • Adam’s real name is Adam Roberts (goes by “Alan Robertski” on Telegram as a bot filter)

Completed
